High level sketches and wireframes are created for concept illustration. Wireframes will visually define functionality and showcase user workflow interactions.
For detailed projects, protypes are created to further explain specific functionality and menu/navigation options.
Next, high quality mockups are created with Photoshop to show the pixel perfect design with images, sample content, and text.
Using front-end developement techniques the project is built and becomes fully functional.
SharedVue had an existing console that needed updated, so I worked with the Product Owner and Software Engineer to redesign the console. We started with sketches and wireframes to nail down concepts and layout issues.
Next, I created mockups of the new design and provided very detailed notes and user interaction stories as well as specific style notes (colors, sizes, padding, etc.)
Once the developer had the framework up and running I got into the code to clean up the interfaces and apply new styles to polish the product.
IT vendors use the SharedVue platform to syndicate web showcases on partner sites. I was responsible for designing, building, and maintaining these web showcases.
